Pro Nitrox Prep / IDC / EFRI / EANx Inst / Gas BlenderYou´re not just certified as Dive Instructor and Emergency First Response Instructor; with this course you have also the permission to teach about gases and mix them by yourself. A very high qualification in diving industry!
PADI IDC & EANx Preparation Course (3 days)This relaxed three day program is designed to help candidates refresh their diving skills and Divemaster dive theory prior to the IDC and is also a chance for those already certified as EANx Divers to refresh their EANx Theory and those without EANx certification, a chance to learn about it and if they chose, become certified as EANx Divers !!!With the global acceptance of EANx into mainstream Recreational Diving over the last 6 years or so it is becoming more and more important that future (and present) PADI Instructors be familiar with the theory and use of EANx … after all there have been questions about EANx in the DM exams since 1999 . and there are even questions on EANx in the 2002 Open Water Course Quizzes and Exams !!! Recent changes to PADI standards again serve to highlight the importance of understanding EANx: EANx Adventure Dive, OWD 4 can be done on EANx etc ! During Chris's Indepth IDC Prep we will review in detail the 5 topics that make up the dive theory Exams: Physics, Physiology, The Recreational Dive Planner, Equipment and General Skills & the Diving Environment - complete with an exam we know you have NOT seen before We will also conduct the PADI EANx theory and practical application with a review of ALL the latest PADI materials - DVD, Outline, exam, Prescriptive Teaching Lesson Guides etc. During the Confined Water session we will review the 20 skills of the PADI skill circuit, focusing on your demonstration abilities and also run a Rescue Workshop where we can make sure you are familiar and comfortable with the PADI Rescue Diver Course Exercise #7: Unconscious Diver at the Surface. For those lacking current CPR status (within the past 24 months) an EFR Update is available as part of the Prep. This two hour add-on focuses on the 10 skills that make up Primary Assessment and Secondary Assessment. The cost of EFR recertification with PADI is 16 $USD. The IDC Prep is a great way to ease yourself into "IDC learning mode", familiarize yourself with the facilities, meet and get to know your fellow candidates, Course Director and the IDC Staff.

The course is relaxed and low stress and is integrated into the IDC to allow you some more fun and teaching practice before the IE.

DSAT Gas Blender InstructorAs more divers understand the benefits of using EANx (nitrox), the need for a ready supply of Enriched Air (EANx) mixtures is constantly increasing !!!However to provide simply EANx nitrox diver training is just not enough because if this is all a Dive Centre or their instructors can offer then their customers, then most likely their customers will go to their competitors to get their tanks filled with EANx … … that's when they might just see the new EANx nitrox computer that they can't live without, or sign up for that PADI Wreck Specialty they've thinking about or that live aboard trip, etc….
